The sort of mind reading like
“God wills it” demands

“Low and despised” we know
Unless we choose
This and that blinders

“In the world” this world
Chockfull of despised
Chockfull of low
Untouchable and undeserving
For the power, for the few

“Things that are not”
We know those things
We do not know
That long list
Of shadowed dark

“To reduce to nothing”
The will again, willing
“Things that are”
Choice again, choice
But whose choice?
