Walls Unrooted

Cratylus pressed
On the names of things

Saw a wall
For a wall

And thought the word
Hard enough

And trimmed
To the object

Because the world
Was rooted so

Thoughts denied words must surely molder. If one cannot speak them out and play with them - parsing and polishing - how is one to grow the concept and meld it with the larger mind? It does seem that a thinker gone mute might never become intimately wedded to the revelation ~
